Now hiring an experienced  Solutions Architect to join our market development group working at Large Public Venues (LPV) segment worldwide based in Lisbon - (Portugal)

What to expect! This is a high-level and hybrid technical and development role.

You are comfortable owning the RFI/RFP proposal support for selling, and technical content, as well as conducting Client meetings as LPV Technical SME.
We are thrilled with your outstanding skills in developing educational material, presenting valued propositions to clients, sales teams, and partners. You build a LPV Reference Architecture by work across different lines of business for a coordinated offering. You should look at new and differentiating deployment techniques and cost comparisons, providing groundbreaking Point of View and sales tools, including building sales collateral, technical documentation, presentations, and white papers.

 

Responsibilities and expectations include:

Field and respond to incoming requests. They are coming from sales teams, Operators, and Partners who are pursuing LPV opportunities that require market expertise in the form of sophisticated RF design, network dimensioning, stadium deployment models, references, and strategic partnerships.

Be an internal advocate for LPV. You need to work multi-functionally with Business Units, Marketing, PLM, Engineering, to define features, functionality, form factors, which are needed to be successful.

Build action plans with embedded GEO sales teams crafted to increase the LPV pipeline. You will focus on industry-specific shows and events, look for opportunities to speak, and share industry thought leadership from CommScope.

 

What makes a Solutions Architect

We require strong global engineering, sales, and business development background with technical acuity and the following track record of experience:

  • 10 years of success attaining results on goals on revenue, design wins for business development of large, matrix, project-based engagements, with experience as a quota/ target bearing professional.
  • Specialist relationship-builder to CTO/ CIO/CMO level decision-makers together with deep expertise and experience in strategic account planning.
  • Global sales experience and an understanding of regional business models and cultures, proficiency in English and Portuguese, other European languages are desirable.
  • Experience with venue DAS, Wi-Fi, wiring, and fiber designs and deployments methodology is a must.
  • Willing to travel extensively/globally (40-50%)
