Position Summary:

 

The Merchant Partnership Manager (Germany) will identify, prospect, and onboard new merchant partnerships and establish and enhance the catalog of user-facing deals for Germany.
 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing local and national merchant identification, prospecting, and acquisitions.
  • Negotiate exclusive deals for employees that pay CPA commissions to the company and include tracking mechanism and electronic data exchange
  • Build, execute and maintain partnerships with local and national merchants
  • Managing affiliate programs, networks, and platforms such as EverFlow.
  • Entering and editing digital content provided by merchants into the BenefitHub platform
  • Continued management of the day to day relationships with our local, national, and affiliate partners in assigned regions.
  • Collecting marketing assets, on-boarding new advertisers, and implementing new offers
  • Troubleshooting issues such as incorrect URLs, broken coupon codes and faulty landing pages, etc.
  • Optimizing and reporting on merchant program portfolio for each assigned region and monitoring activities for fraud and compliance

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of client service, marketing, management, sales, business development, or merchant related experience.
  • Knowledge of the employee benefits market in Germany
  • Existing contacts and relationships with merchants across various verticals
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of an international team
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Internet savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English and primary native language for the assigned country.
