About the role

As Head of Demand Generation, you will report to our VP Marketing and own our demand generation strategy and operations.

We are looking for an inspiring leader who has demonstrated success in a fast growth B2B-Enterprise-SaaS environment and has a track record in leading successful demand generation functions from designing an ABM strategy to implementing and managing processes, campaigns and automations. Ideally, you bring deep experience in building and managing a high-performance Demand Gen function and aim to be a key decision-maker on how to leverage cutting-edge Marketing technologies to get results.

 

Your three main responsibilities

Demand Generation Strategy

Bring a strategic vision and innovative approach to build and refine our lead generation function. Understand and shape the Userlane customer acquisition and expansion funnel, and collaborate with Product Marketing and communication teams to maximize their impact in each stage of the funnel. Measure, analyze, and report campaign performance. Manage the demand generation budget resources, scope, target outcomes, KPIs and development of a strong lead generation engine.

 

Data-driven, Account-based Marketing

Your success will be measured by the impact Marketing has on our revenue. This includes hitting KPIs along the complete customer journey - from awareness to closing to expansion and advocacy. Therefore, you will have full command of our demand generation activities and drive campaigns closely aligned with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships in an ABM setup. Develop a deep understanding of the product, customer profiles, and the buyer’s journey.  

 

Channels, Technologies, and Processes

We grow fast, and the Marketing organization needs to scale with it. This will require you to assess the current process landscape and technology stack and ensure it evolves to fuel our future growth. Therefore one of your key challenges will be to identify and leverage new channels, technologies and processes to maximize the impact of our Marketing investments.

 

 

Your profile

Experience

You have a minimum experience of 7+ years developing and executing strategic demand generation and ABM programs in a B2B, SaaS and Enterprise environment. Ideally, you also bring 2+ years of people management experience with passion for managing and developing talent in a fast-paced startup environment.

 

Expertise

You bring expertise in defining demand gen and ABM strategies and implementing enterprise lead generation processes and systems. You have a strong understanding of Performance channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, and Digital principles (such as SEO, CRO, conversion tactics). Additionally, you show proficiency with key Marketing and Sales technologies from CRM (Salesforce) to Marketing Automation tools. You follow Marketing trends and rising technologies closely and are knowledgeable about best practices in ABM, outreach, performance, social, content marketing and syndication.

 

Personality

You will be a role model for your team and you have the ability to build a collaborative Marketing culture based on trust. You communicate your ideas, feedback, and challenges and raise awareness of current and future risks and opportunities the company and Marketing organization might face and how we should approach them.You are analytical and solutions-oriented.

 

Mindset

You can think strategically to reach company goals based on OKRs and are able to represent the Marketing organization towards all internal and external company stakeholders. You love to take ownership and aim to continuously raise the bar by making use of new technology and your passion for B2B Demand Gen.
