Summary
In this role, you will build and implement multi-channel digital content strategies for inbound and outbound marketing campaigns. These strategies will be based on your experience in and understanding of marketing content development, customer value journey, audiences and SEO. You will manage content development projects by working with both internal and external resources.
Responsibilities
- Use your knowledge of content development and SEO best-practices to create a scalable , and efficient framework for building digital content strategies according to the customer journey of each target audience
- Write and edit marketing content for social media, email marketing, long-form content (blog / white-papers), data visualization and infographics, video scripts
- Perform prospective client and existing client digital content audits
- Define the customer value journey and set goals associated with audiences and journeys, through the content strategy
- Use media tools for campaign scheduling, content development, SEO optimization and campaign management
- Launch and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting audiences at each stage of our sales funnel
- Perform ongoing analysis, maintenance and optimization of content development programs
- Create and manage the ongoing IronPlane digital marketing content calendar
- Build and engage relationships with community leaders, through the content framework plan
Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- Experience in the eCommerce industry
- 5+ years writing and editing persuasive and educational content on digital technology topics
- 3+ years social media and email marketing experience within a B2C company -OR- 5+ years social media and email marketing experience with an agency
- Experience using digital tools for content development, social media management, marketing automation and email marketing
- Experience crafting creative and engaging content using different formats for various audiences
- Able to analyze and catch what matters to audiences and how to engage with them by staying up-to-date with eCommerce and digital marketing industry, and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention
- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals including, competitive SEO, keyword research, relevant on-page content strategies, SEO analytics
- Ability to partner with multiple cross-functional teams
